New Construction Inspection:
Are you building a new home? I’ll come out during different phases of the construction process to make sure your project is being executed according to your specs. I can verify that scheduled work has been completed before you make a payment to your contractor. I’ll also come out prior to project completion to help you and your general contractor devise a punch list of remaining items. This is not a code-compliance inspection for your contractor, but a New Construction Inspection for you.
Pre-Drywall Inspection: Building Quality from the Inside Out. Our pre-drywall inspection service offers an essential checkpoint during the construction process of your new home. Before the drywall is installed, our expert inspectors thoroughly examine the structural components, electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC systems, and insulation. This in-depth assessment ensures that everything is up to code, and potential issues are identified early on. By addressing any problems before the drywall is in place, you have the opportunity to work with your builder to make necessary corrections, ensuring a higher standard of quality and minimizing future repair costs. Trust us to be your vigilant eyes on the construction site, ensuring your dream home is built to perfection.
Infrared certified home inspections use thermal imaging technology to identify potential problems in your home’s structure and insulation. With this technology, our inspectors are able to detect temperature variations that may indicate underlying issues in the home. Our infrared certified home inspections provide a complete picture of the condition of your home, helping you make informed decisions about repairs or renovations.
Our Home Inspection service includes a Radon Inspection to ensure your safety and peace of mind. Our experienced team will take air and soil samples to measure the radon levels in and around your home. Are you selling your home? Let me inspect it before you even list it. As your home approaches its first anniversary, our experienced inspectors conduct a comprehensive assessment to identify any construction defects, potential issues, or concerns that may be covered under your builder's warranty. By addressing these matters early on, you can ensure that necessary repairs are made before the warranty period ends, saving you time, money, and stress. Trust us to provide you with a detailed inspection report that empowers you to maximize your warranty benefits and maintain the value of your home for years to come.
Annual Home Inspection:
Especially if you’re a new homeowner, an Annual Home Maintenance Inspection can help you understand and plan for the demands of maintaining your home properly. Some tasks are seasonal, and some items require more frequent attention. Let me help you start on the path of responsible homeownership by identifying any issues, and educating you about what should be done each year to keep your home in top condition. Even if you’re a veteran homeowner, my inspection can verify whether your home’s maintenance is sufficient, or whether any problems have developed during the past year.
Repair Verification / Follow-Up Inspection:
Have you had remodeling or repair work done by a contractor to address a deficiency, or to adapt or modernize some structure or system of your home? I will inspect it to make sure that the materials, installation and workmanship meet quality standards and your specifications. This is not a code-compliance inspection, but an inspection to check that the work was completed properly.
Monster Free Inspection: Free with Home Inspection
Moving to a new home can be stressful for children, too. That’s why I offer a Monster-Free Inspection and Certificate. Your child can accompany me while I inspect under their bed, under the stairs, in the closet, and anywhere else they want so I can assure them that there aren’t any monsters. Simply request this service when I schedule your inspection and I’ll bring a personalized Monster-Free Certificate with me.
